BEFORE YOU BEGIN
A good setup makes a better first cut.
Check your workspace, materials and power before you begin.

Read the operating guidance together. Keep loose sleeves, long hair and nearby objects clear of the workspace.
An adult is ready to guide the activity.

Choose the cardboard
Check that your cardboard type and thickness are approved for your model. Start with a small piece you can comfortably support.
Material limits match the user manual.

Inspect the cutting path
Look for tape, glue, staples, coatings and damp patches. Choose a clean cutting path and follow the material restrictions.
No hidden obstruction along the marked line.

Make room on the table
Choose a stable, level surface. Leave enough space to support the whole sheet as it moves across the work area.
The machine is stable and the sheet is supported.

Check the power supply
Use the power supply specified for your model. Check the cable and connector for visible damage before connecting.

Locate the control
Identify the operating side and the power control before use. Make sure you can reach the control without reaching across the cutting area.

HOW TO USE YOUR CUTTER
Your first cuts, one step at a time.
Follow the complete sequence from setup to stopping.

Face your work area
Identify the operating side, work surface and control. Keep the control within easy reach.
You can reach the control comfortably.

Set the machine flat
Set the whole base on a stable surface. Keep the machine away from an unsupported table edge.
The base is stable and fully supported.

Connect with power off
Make sure the machine is off. Connect the power supply specified for your model.
Power is connected without starting a cut.

Check the connection
Check that the cable is secure and undamaged. Keep it clear of the sheet’s movement.
The cable stays clear of your work.

Start the machine
Use the designated power control. Follow your model’s startup and ready-state guidance.
The machine starts as expected.

Make a test cut
Try a short line in supported scrap cardboard before starting your project. Stop if the result seems unusual.
The test piece moves and cuts normally.

Support the cardboard
Keep the sheet flat and supported. Support any part that extends beyond the working surface.
The sheet does not bend or hang freely.

Choose a safe grip
Keep your fingers clear of the cutting area. Stop before changing your grip.
Hands stay clear of the cutting area.

Guide the material
Follow your model’s feed direction. If the material resists, stop and check instead of pushing harder.
The material moves without force.

Follow a straight line
Keep the cardboard flat and supported. Move steadily along your marked line.
The finished edge follows your mark.

Make gradual turns
Follow the approved turning method. Keep the sheet supported and avoid forcing it sideways.
The turn stays controlled and supported.

Stop and clear
Switch off. Wait until all movement stops before clearing scraps or moving material away.
The machine has fully stopped.
BUILD YOUR CUTTING SKILLS
Start simple. Build control.
Use suitable scrap cardboard to practice before starting a bigger project.

Straight lines
Start with a short marked line. Compare the finished edge with your pencil mark.

Wide curves
Practice a broad curve with steady support and a gradual change in direction.

Circles & arcs
Plan a path from an outside edge. Keep turns gentle and avoid forcing a tight radius.

Corners
Plan separate cuts. Stop before changing your grip or repositioning the sheet.

Small parts & cutouts
Check your model’s grip and internal-cut limits first. Use only approved methods.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Find the problem. Know your next step.
Stop if something seems unusual. Work through the checks below before continuing.
